Overview

BFK-2450 is a polyether-modifiedpolysiloxane that has excellent leveling and defoaming properties, increasesand improves scratch resistance, and eliminates paint defects such as shrinkagecavities, pinholes, and craters that appear in PU and UV paint systems. It hasspecial effects and can prevent pigments from floating. It has excellentcompatibility, good oil point breaking effect, good anti-sticking effect, andhigh temperature resistance. It does not affect recoating when used in bakingpaint systems.

Application scope

UV coatings, UV curable screen printinginks, automotive coatings, water-based and solvent-based industrial coatings.

Usage and dosage

It can be added at any stage in theproduction process. Due to different formulas and conditions, it is recommendedthat users conduct experiments to determine the best addition amount beforeuse. The recommended addition amount is 0.5-1.0% (total formula amount).
